Some people are chasing validation to fill the void of the reflection looking back at them.

They’re chasing a constant reassurance to remind them that they matter.

It’s an addiction to the rush of feeling wanted and desired.

A new person, a new message, a new notification to light up their phone.

They are looking for attention from multiple sources to boost their self esteem.

Something to remind them that they are good enough. A fix for their self doubt underneath.

They’re chasing an endless loop.

Eventually, the dopamine fades and they’re back at square one scrolling again.

The right connection doesn’t require a constant performance to keep the spark alive.

Unfortunately, most people aren’t comfortable enough to sit alone and do the inner work it requires for growth and healthier future connections.

Learning to love yourself and be able to enjoy your own company is the key foundation of keeping a real long term connection.

The rush always fades.

What’s left is a real person with expectations. Flaws. Real day to day stuff.

It’s not about finding the next spark.

It’s about finding yourself so that you don’t repeat the same patterns.

You need to learn to be happy with yourself or you will never feel fulfilled in any of your relationships.
